1 OF A KIND is a wholesale, distribution and (Private label) production company that has been founded in 2011 with the purpose of trading carefully curated brands that are doing their fair share of making the world a better place. We believe that sustainability and willingness to be fully transparent is the only way forward and have therefore build our business around this philosophy that helped us grow our distribution network of like-minded B2B partners in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal and Spain in the past 11 years. Our product range include a high quality crochet brand from Bangladesh - Pebble - whose products are being made from over 8000 women in 80 villages all over the country and a wooden toy brand from India - Maya Organic - which is producing beautiful lacware educational toys without the use of any chemicals, which earned them a UNESCO Seal of Excellence for their traditional and environmental friendly way of manufacturing. Both brands have a focus on creating an empowered and equitable society that systemically addresses livelihood & education while their workers have a sustainable, flexible and fair working environment. Above-average wages for the mothers and families and flexible working hours open up new ways out of poverty. In 2020 we took it to another level and co-founded a luxury label for a Munich based fashion Influencer, creating a tailoring collection with certified circular stock fabrics from Italian mills, production in Portugal with a small manufacturer, accessories from Italy.
