The company has been established for over 20 years and we are still a family owned business. It’s been quite a journey, from our humble beginnings as creator of the original 1000 Mile sock with its famous Blister Free Guarantee, through to our current position of a one stop shop for sport and wellbeing products. As well as expanding the 1000 Mile sock range, we have developed a reputation as a trustworthy, reliable and pro-active distributor. We have long standing relationships with leading brands which include Noene and Compeed. In 2011, we launched a second ‘own brand’ – Ultimate Performance. The launch collection focused on running and outdoor accessories, with sports supports and tapes following on shortly afterwards. With a dedicated brand development director on board, look out for regular additions to the portfolio. We are dedicated to service and innovation but make sure we always take into account the needs of the retailer. We know our sales team can sell in, but we also do our best to help with sell through. How we do this is by investing in marketing, advertising and PR to spread the word about our products and so drive demand through our retailers. Our attendance at trade shows including ISPO Munich has opened up an export arm and our products can now be found in countries including Australia, Singapore, South Africa, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
