Founded in 1999, folded in 2014. LILL Studio was an interactive, experiential custom handbag retail concept that encouraged customers to express their individuality and personal style. Customers could design their own bags and accessories from a selection of 50 styles and 140+ fabrics; purchase ready-made designs or create lasting memories with family and friends, designing LILL bags together. Customers could design online, in one of LILL's boutiques (Chicagoland: Lincoln Park, 900 N. Michigan Ave, Deer Park Town Center) or via a national home party and event program, LILL on Location. All LILL products were hand-tailored in Chicago at LILL Studio's production facility and delivered in three to four weeks. LILL introduced its exclusive Custom Design Center in stores, featuring a 65" HD Touch Screen so customers could design handbags almost instantly. Voted best "Design Your Own" concept in Time Out Chicago's 2012 Reader's Choice Shopping Awards and named "Best of the Web" for 2010 by InStyle Magazine, LILL believed in "giving back", offering party packages for silent auctions at charity events and unique "Fundraising by Design" parties in stores.
