About 171 Cedar Arts Center

171 Cedar Arts Center is a vibrant, non-profit, community multi-arts center that offers excellent arts instruction, exhibits today’s artists and presents live performances, all from a beautiful, two-building campus just blocks from Corning’s historic downtown. While best known for its robust, youth class program, newcomers are surprised by the Center’s array of offerings for students of all ages: ceramics, culinary arts, dance, fitness, fencing, foreign language, literature, music, theater and the visual arts, along with workshops in photography, fiber arts, printmaking and more. 171 is the region’s premier facility for diverse, arts-based experiences, constantly providing new opportunities for skill building and self‐expression. 171 is supported by income from memberships, donations and program fees.
