About 1910 Confined Space Training
One person dies every four days in a permit-required confined space. Is your program as good as it should be? When you hire 1910 Confined Space Training to train your personnel, you are getting hands-on training that is tailored to your specific industry’s needs. We do not take a “one size fits all” approach to training. Every industry is different and every space is different. Our years of providing training and standby rescue services to so many types of industries is what sets us apart. We have experienced the need for personnel to not only be trained but to have an attitude of safety. At 1910 Confined Space Training, we believe you do not rise to the occasion, you default to your level of training. You are the difference between someone going home or not. The systems we teach can be used for non-entry retrieval and entry rescue, with a minimal amount of equipment that is easily brought to the space before entry. The OSHA standard is “performance-based”. Our hands-on training helps to ensure that your personnel are doing what is required and that they can perform to meet OSHA requirements. One thing that can’t be overlooked is a medical event in the space. Your program can eliminate all the hazards in the space. However, if that entrant has a medical event, especially at height, you are required to not only get him out of the space, but to be able to get them to the help they need in a timely manner. Our training encourages your personnel to always do their part by thinking about the “what if’s”, “how would we?”, “can this be done better?”. Good programs can always be made better, but it requires everyone to do their part. “Safety is more than just compliance”
