About 1st Mediation
1st Mediation Ltd provides an independent mediation service to resolve disputes. Our mediators are experienced in Family, Civil and Commercial mediation with varied backgrounds in a range of professions. We offer a personal, confidential and impartial service which aims to help you open up conversation and reach a fair agreement. We understand the legal processes and ensure that clients can make informed decisions. One of our key aims is to keep your conflict out of court, saving you time, money and emotional energy. In Family Mediation the first step is to attend a Mediation Information & Assessment Meeting. It’s a confidential meeting which provides information about the process and assesses if mediation is appropriate in your case. If it is appropriate we invite the other person to attend a MIAM. If both parties are willing to continue with the process you can arrange the first mediation session. Through the Government’s Family Mediation Voucher Scheme we can help clients mediating on child arrangement issues apply for £500 towards their joint sessions. This will continue as long as the Government’s funding does. With Civil and Commercial Mediation the aim is to settle conflicts through the use of a neutral mediator who facilitates proceedings. A voluntary and confidential process, it brings parties closer together to find a resolution on which they mutually agree. Both parties can be represented by their own legal advisors and typically the mediation session is completed within a day. For a free consultation call 07501 224334.
