About 1sTouch

As a non-profit organization, our mission is to provide a safe, structured environment for youth from different cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds to come together through sports in order to gain social and academic skills necessary for success. Millions of kids in suburban America play sports. Millions of urban American kids do not have access to organized sports programs and are thus denied the opportunity and resulting benifits of such programs. 1sTouch provides urban youth the opportunity to develop athletic, academic, social skills and attitudes that contribute to success in school and in life. 1sTouch will provide physical fitness and diversity education through non-traditional community sports. (Soccer, Lacrosse & Tennis) We host a series of forums and clinics in the community in order to educate and recruit a diverse group of students in the greater Charlotte community. 1sTouch has formed community, regional, national and international partnerships with organizations in the following areas in order to full fill our mission: academic achievement, character development, community service and nutrition and health.
