208 Creative Studios is a self-service studio with multiple gear add-ons or rental options. Our spacious 1,000-square-foot studio, with 13-foot ceilings, is perfect for a wide range of photo and video projects. Our core mission here at 208 Creative Studios is to build custom, collapsible, and interchangeable sets that aren’t typical or are hard to film. Whether the project is a serious drama, experimental sci-fi, visually titillating music video, or high-fashion editorial, we’ll have something you can’t find anywhere else. 208, once the apartment number of students attending the Art Institute of California, served as a hub of creativity and collaboration, helping anyone who walked through the doors. A fond memory and experience Gerry Kodo Jr. held on to, inspiring the name of 208 Creative Studios. Zanin Lindsay, a NYC native who has built his career on similar principles of collaboration and community, found a like-minded partner in Gerry. Their shared passion for anime, video games, and storytelling led to their partnership and, finally, the joint venture in establishing an official base to further their craft.
