Ce projet positionnera également la région en tant que pôle d’excellence dans le domaine des sciences de la vie et technologies de la santé. Cet immeuble avoisinant les 700 000 pi.ca. pourra accueillir plus spécifiquement des entreprises spécialisées dans les domaines suivants : • Laboratoire médical et d’analyses diagnostiques • Établissement industriel relié à la biotechnologie • Établissement industriel dont l’activité principale est la fabrication de produits pharmaceutiques et de médicaments • Établissement industriel dont l’activité principale est la fabrication de matériel, d’appareils et de composantes électroniques dans un environnement contrôlé (salles blanches) //// Our science: Creating an environment conducive to scientific and technological progress Marc LeBel develops this project in collaboration with HarveyCorp and private local investors, including Mr. François Laflamme, former president of OmegaChem. It will meet the growing needs in the fields of health and life sciences research. It will help strengthen Quebec City’s healthcare ecosystem. The project will also position the region as a center of excellence in life sciences and health technologies. The nearly 700,000 sq. ft. building will specifically accommodate companies specializing in the following fields : • Medical and diagnostic laboratories • Biotechnology-related industrial facilities • Pharmaceutical and drug manufacturing facilities • Industrial facilities whose main activity is the manufacture of electronic equipment, devices and components in controlled environments (clean rooms)
