2Excel Engineering is a Maintenance and Repair Organisation (MRO) for Boeing and Airbus narrow-bodied aircraft, serving the growing maintenance needs of the commercial airline industry. Based at Lasham Airfield in North Hampshire, the business delivers service-orientated large aircraft engineering to aircraft operators and owners, leasing companies and governments. In 2016, 2Excel took over the aircraft maintenance facilities previously operated by ATC Lasham and invested in the modernisation of the business to create 2Excel Engineering. The site’s capabilities have been regenerated and the company has grown from fewer than 50 employees to 250 staff and contractors. Building on more than 60 years of engineering excellence at Lasham, 2Excel Engineering has established itself as the partner of choice for Boeing aircraft maintenance and repair in the UK and Europe. Having cemented its reputation as a respected MRO, the business has recently extended its Approval to include heavy maintenance for the Airbus A320 series aircraft up to 12-year structural checks. As well as supporting 2Excel Aviation in its large aircraft ambitions, 2Excel Engineering is looking to develop to meet the growing demand in the airline maintenance market.
