3blackkids mission is simple; to entertain, perform and musically express the multifaceted layers & levels of the black experience. The pain, the triumph, the comedy, the resilience. Their first EP "I Hate it Here" spring boards you into the world of this experience. Reminiscent of classic groups such as Digable Planets and A Tribe Called Quest, they have weaved live instrumentation with nostalgic low end and world vibes to create a body of work that is timeless and timely. Their EP and live show has ushered in a strong local and national following and they have already graced the stage of major events such as Leimert Park Rising, Bhens Block Party, ClubHouse Global, and Day of Healing. Keeping in tune with what they feel is most important, community and tribe, their event "3BlackKids in the park" has already left an impactful imprint on Los Angeles and is soon to touch down in Oakland. Boasting high vibes and healing at the core, guests leave glowing from dancing in the sun and feeling lighter than when they came. The entire package and then some, 3blackkids are more than just a band, they are a movement.
