Current options include autografts, allografts, and synthetic materials with rigid metal fixation. But these options are expensive, take extra operating room time, need multiple procedures, can have high pain morbidity, and may require revisions. We offer a solution that reduces cost by up to 50%; limits the need for autografts, allografts, and synthetic materials with rigid metal fixation; lowers operating room time by almost half; reduces the number of procedures; precisely matches the defect geometry, and lowers recovery duration to six months or less from as much as a year. 3DOS is developing a customizable, 3D-printed scaffold for repairing and regenerating bone in oral surgery. Biocompatible materials and structures are optimized to efficiently and maximally enhance bone regrowth while being compatible with existing, low-cost 3D printing machines. We provide an easy-to-use and biodegradable scaffold superior to existing products in speed, quality, and cost, providing a high throughput option for oral surgeons.
