Since its founding, 3DMX Inc. has been in a constant search for innovation, walking untrodden territories to develop and provide the most up-to-date services and education in the areas of Digital Design and Digital Art, Interactive Media, and Technology-based Education programs and modes of delivery. Along with the migration of traditional services from PC to the ubiquitous cloud of information, companies are seeking to expand their presence at home and abroad. This momentum has made necessary the creation of corporate electronic personae, along with the means to reach prospective markets and provide extensive services for a global clientele. With over ten years of experience in Biotechnology, Industrial, and Entertainment projects, Orange Planet Animation Studios has provided an answer to this challenge. Given the scarcity of specialized digital artists and programmers in Mexico, as the company’s client portfolio grew it became evident that it had to initiate a training program to develop skilled artists to be involved in the company’s media productions. To that end, starting from short courses for 3D animation, modeling and post production, in a few years 3DMX became a Latin American benchmark, providing the first bachelor’s programs in Digital Arts to be acknowledged by the Department of Education in Mexico. And thus was born 3DMX Digital Design University.
