3na is a ship design workgroup specializing in custom marine solutions. The team was assembled in 2006 by Dimitris Chalkias, Nikos Papapanagiotou and Nicholas Protonotarios, all three naval architects and marine engineers, graduates of the National Technical University of Athens. A simple but subversive idea inspired us; a new type of a bulk carrier designated for shallow draft terminals. What started as a feasibility study, evolved into a full set of class-approved drawings for a new-building vessel. 3na offers elaborate, high-quality services in the design of merchant ships, yachts and boats.
