About 5 Points Music Foundation

5 Points Music began in January 2017 and focuses on promoting sound and music through events and programs group music therapy, music lessons for those w/ hearing loss, and programs that provide earplugs for artists, stage hands and others at risk for hearing loss. It was shortly after my 2nd child was born, both of whom are deaf, that the vision for 5 Points Music became clear. Upon receiving cochlear implants, they both were able to hear as well as you and I. This gift, the gift of sound, is the genesis for what we do at 5 Points Music. We celebrate, promote, and pursue the power of sound in all its glory. Located in Roanoke, the the heart of Virginia’s Blue Ridge, 5 Points Music Foundation features a 2,000 sq/ft performance hall, the Sanctuary, with a capacity just over 250 and a lower lever co-working space dedicated to music teaching studios, creative suites, and a 1,000 sq/ft rehearsal stage available for band rehearsals, classes, and community uses. As a non-profit organization, our program funding is supported by our live events, special programming, and the amazing support of our donors and sponsors.
