About 7 Seas Whale Watch
Specialties 7 Seas Whale watch is Gloucester's most recommended whale watch, offering daily tours to one of the best whale watching locations in the world. Sightings are guaranteed on this 3 to 4 hour narrated tour, which provides passengers with a one-of-a-kind nature experience. Our Marine Biologist/Naturalist have been everywhere from Hawaii, South America, Alaska and the entire East Coast Studying whales. They are know for their educational and entertaining commentary. History Established in 1983 7 Seas Whale Watch has always been a family owned and operated business. Paul Frontierro, Owner and General Manager, started as a Captain on his father's fishing boat out of Gloucester MA, until he discovered whale watching in 1983. For over 30 years, Capt. Paul and co-owner Capt. Sebastian "Sebby" Lovasco set the standard for whale watching aboard the Privateer, one of the first whale watching vessels to operate out of Cape Ann. In 2002, 7 Seas acquired the Privateer IV, a modern, state-of-the-art vessel that offers passengers many amenities including a GPS in the cabin so that passengers can follow the boats course at sea and a low profile, which allows passengers to get close to the great whales. Today, Capt. Paul and Capt. Sebby still play an active role in the daily operation of 7 Seas whale watch along with Paul's 2 sons Capt Jay Frontierro and Adam Frontierro as well as many other experience crew members who return year after year.
