9.28 capital advisors llc is a firm founded by hedge fund veteran marketing professional Joe Campise. The Firm is focused on introducing institutional investors to alternative asset manager clients. Mr. Campise is no stranger to this process as he brings over 30 years of professional experience in the alternatives industry. Most recently, Mr. Campise served as the Head of Marketing for Achievement Asset Management raising over $2.5B for the Firm’s flagship Fund within the Firm's first 18 months of existence, making this one of the largest launches post 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Campise served as Head of Marketing for PEAK6 Advisors LLC, the Firm from which Achievement Asset Management spun out of in October 2014. During his tenure there, the volatility arbitrage fund that was managed by PEAK6 Advisors LLC grew from approximately $280M to over $1B AUM in just over 20 months from his arrival, at which point the Fund soft-closed due to capacity constraints. Mr. Campise also spent 7 years as a Regional Head of Capital Introduction for both Banc of America Securities and BNP Paribas, helping their hedge fund clients raise capital. Mr. Campise was also a former institutional investor at Credit Agricole and began his career in January 1994 as a consultant in the Hedge Fund Advisory Group at Arthur Andersen LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with High Honors from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. In addition, he passed his Certified Public Accountant Examination at the age of 20 and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
