Rich, who has been in the construction business since 1980, founded the company after discovering the industry-leading A-1 Method as a solution for a severely fire-damaged and cracked house foundation. He knew from his construction experience that hydraulic cement and other available products could not fix the cracks. These products do not allow for the expansion and contraction of concrete due to extremes in temperature and weather. He was determined to find a solution. After significant research, Rich perfected a solution that involved new techniques and materials fine-tuned from dam repair technologies pioneered by the US Army Corps of Engineers: the A-1 Method. A-1 Foundation Crack Repair, Inc. was founded after more and more house builders requested the A-1 Method to solve problems that otherwise would have been cost prohibitive or simply too invasive. We currently cater to a wide range of customers in both the commercial and retail markets. A-1 is a member of the Better Business Bureau and holds a Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor License #138883 and Rhode Island Contractors' Registration #25962.
