About A Different World Services

"Building People, Building Family." A Different World Services LLC provides 24-hour Intellectual and Developmental Disability services in Virginia, USA. Our mission is to help individuals to improve their self-confidence, motivation, and the ability to interact successfully within the community. We offer a variety of training and treatment modalities to enhance the individuals optimal level of functioning. The program will improve the individuals skills so that they may function as independently as possible. Individuals will receive skills training in all areas of daily living, to include independent home skills and community interaction skills. Treatment will be obtained for individuals who need additional assistance with mental health or behavioral difficulties. The program is designed to provide intensive daily structure and supervision. One to one supervision may be provided when needed for an individuals safety.
