A Human Experience was created by a seasoned mental health professional and DEI educator with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals, teams, and organizations in building emotional resilience, inclusive practices, and lasting cultural change. After years of offering trainings, consultations, and presentations—particularly around creating safer spaces for 2SLGBTQIA communities—she noticed a recurring gap: people often wanted the “right” DEI language or the perfect definition to understand others, without first understanding themselves. What was missing was the foundation. That realization led to the creation of A Human Experience—a framework that begins where all meaningful work must begin: with the human. Through immersive, evidence-informed workshops and retreats, she guides participants in building self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the capacity to show up authentically—skills that must be practiced before sustainable DEI, leadership, or wellness efforts can take hold. Her work moves beyond surface-level strategies and into honest, grounded exploration. Participants are invited to slow down, reflect, and engage without pressure, performance, or labels.
