A.I.M Respite Retreat was created with one mission in mind: to uplift, support, and empower single parents raising children with disabilities through accessible wellness programs and compassionate community care. Inspired by our founder’s nephew, Adrian, who is diagnosed with autism, and his devoted single mother, A.I.M stands for Adrian Inspires Me — a daily reminder of the strength, love, and resilience that caregivers embody. Watching their journey highlighted a profound need: parents are often left without the space to rest, recharge, and simply breathe. We’re here to change that. A.I.M Respite Retreat is a nonprofit organization based in Brampton, Ontario offering non-overnight wellness programs such as group therapy sessions, healing circles, personal development workshops, creative wellness activities, and short-term child respite care. Our services are intentionally designed to give parents a break — not just from caregiving, but from isolation, exhaustion, and stress.
