About A.I.MATICS
We make our road safe! A.I. Matics (previously known as PLK) was founded in 2003 as an in-house venture of Hyundai Motor Company to develop and sell computer vision-based driver assistance systems. Through A.I. camera installed on the windshield, we detect different objects such as lane markings, vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. Our core innovation stems from our incredibly efficient hardware and software which works seamlessly together. Almost every component of our hardware is optimized for vision processing and recording. Our innovative image-recognition software is loaded with advanced machine-learning and deep learning technologies. By combining our incredible hardware and innovative software, we can deliver sophisticated Level 4 autonomous driving solutions at the most economic cost structure. So far, we have deployed over 1.2 million ADAS hardware and software systems in over 35 countries around the world. To cover all road conditions and unanticipated situations, we have collected a massive image database to augment the reliability of our machine learning-based safety features. We also joined forces with industry-leading fleet management service providers to deploy an internet-connected Fleet Safety Management System. Just by connecting to the cellular modem, our AI-powered cameras can provide fleet managers with real-time visibility 24/7. Fleet managers can see different types of risky events uploaded to the cloud at a glance including all vehicle data and tracking data. Fleet management service providers can get access to our exclusive ADAS metadata, including driver distractions, periods of inattention, instances of phone usage or smoking, collision warnings, safe distance measurements, lane violations, etc. All these ADAS metadata can be configured or even combined with existing GPS for use in the most advanced and detailed fleet safety analytics.
