We are the Bay Area’s go-to therapy provider for children with: Speech & Language Disorders Occupational Therapy Disorders Autism and other Pervasive Development Disorders Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders (ADD/ADHD) Down Syndrome Sensory Integration Dysfunctions/Disorders Related behavioral health issues Mission Our mission is to create for each child a more independent, effective and improved quality of life. We are dedicated to helping children discover their unique potential – socially and interpersonally. We have been and are guided by the principle that "the child’s needs and best interests come first.” We are dedicated to “Helping Children Thrive.” We use a wide variety of teaching strategies in our programs. Each child’s program includes skills such as imitation and play. Though this general structure remains the same throughout, we modify the plan during the course of treatment, dependent on your child’s progress and behaviors. Our Therapists’ Training A is For Apple’s behavioral therapy team includes certified Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCABAs). These professionals follow guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), and must maintain their certifications through education and field experience measurement.
