Founded and managed by Keith Farrell, AK Carpentry offers comprehensive carpentry services for both the commercial and residential sectors. Covering the Home Counties and beyond, we pride ourselves on providing a professional service to all our clients – work ranging from bespoke projects for individual clients, right up to continuous service provision for well-known national building brands. We have a dedicated team of over 25 operatives that actively support our business, with access to further resource when required. We pride ourselves on quality and getting things right first time. All operatives are spot checked and assessed to ensure that they meet our high workmanship standard; all hold CSCS cards as a minimum. We believe that ongoing training and development for our team is key to a happy workforce. We offer both on and off site training to all our operatives, and hold “toolbox talks” to ensure that our team are onboard with the key skills required for the job. We actively support apprentices from local colleges – they will be the future of our industry and we want to ensure that they have the best opportunities to work with skilled tradesmen to ensure the continued quality of our business. Many of our students continue to work with us once fully qualified. Health and Safety is of the utmost importance, and we are fully compliant. We engage external health and safety consultants to ensure we are always up to standard and the best that we could be. We are CHAS, SMAS and Constructionline Bronze accredited and are fully insured with Employers, Public and Product Liability and Contractors All Risk insurances.
