A-MED Ambulance is the only locally owned ambulance service in the Greater New Orleans Region, offering emergency and non-emergency services throughout Louisiana. Founded in 1996 by Frank Macera Jr. and Joseph Jaeger, A-MED has grown from a modest, two vehicle transport service into one of the largest private ambulance services in the state of Louisiana. New Orleans is a unique city who’s people, have clear and concise expectations when it comes to family.
