About A-Plus Air Conditioning & Home Solutions
A-Plus is an Austin local, family owned and operated business that has been around for over 35 years. We offer a wide variety of services. We are an HVAC Contractor (air conditioning and heating service and replacement) as well as home repair contractors. We provide everything from handyman services up to full custom remodels including custom bathrooms, kitchens, floor plan re-arrangement, popcorn ceiling removal, painting, flooring, decks, fencing, make-readies, e-key access and much more. Energy conservation is an area we specialize in. We are an original weatherization/energy contractor that has been registered with the Austin Energy Services Department since it began in 1982. A-Plus helped pioneer both the early energy conservation program which is now the current Power Saver Program, as well as the Duct Performance Testing program (only a handful of Austin contractors are qualified). A-Plus is also a registered member of the Energy Star program with Austin Energy. We also perform a variety of energy audits including ECAD audits for realtors. Our certifications include: HVAC license, Building Performance Institute (BPI), National Comfort Institute (NCI - air balancing), RESNET We recently updated our name from A-Plus Energy Management, Air Conditioning & Home Solutions.
