Brouwer Co., graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master's Degree in Engineering in 1985. After gaining valuable experience in commercial construction as a Project Manager and Director of Estimating, Steve was determined to branch out on his own, eager to set a new standard for commercial construction services. Naming the business after his father, Steve founded A.R. Brouwer Company in 1998. The decision to set up shop in Dexter, MI was fairly simple: it was close to home and was ideally situated within Washtenaw County for servicing clients throughout Southeastern Michigan. In addition, the proximity to the University of Michigan and a variety of industrial parks in Washtenaw County made Dexter the perfect home for A.R. Brouwer Company.
