About A Soldier's Child Foundation
As citizens of the United States of America, we are forever indebted to the men and women who so unselfishly protect our freedoms. It is our objective to communicate through A Soldiers Child to the children left behind that the memory of their parent will not fade away. We want them to know that there are many Americans that are forever grateful for their parent's sacrifice. With humbleness of heart we aim to honor the memory of the parent by giving meaningful gifts to his/her children on their birthday. Christian Golczynski was the first child to receive a gift from ASC, and our goal is to reach every soldier's child, (all military branches) adopting them into the foundation until they are of adult age. We cannot substitute the bond and love of the parent that is forever gone, but with your help we can show them that we really do care. A Soldier’s Child Foundation three points of service are: #1. Celebrating our recipient’s birthdays every year up to the age 18. #2. We offer a Journey Camp experience for our recipient’s between the ages of 10 – 16. This is a week-long camp hosted by ASC and our kids are encouraged to attend it for as many years as they want. We also have mini-camps throughout the year. They include hunting, fishing, dance, science, songwriting, culinary arts, sports, horse camp, and so many more! #3. ASC facilitates in college scholarships for $1000.00 and up to $10,000.00 for our recipients and the surviving spouse through our partner organization; The Folded Flag Foundation. We presently have over 3200 children in all 50 states and expect to exceed 3500 children by the end of 2019. We are so very grateful for you, and others all over our country committed to help us honor our national treasure, the children of our fallen military servicemen and woman. www.asoldierschild.org for more information
