About A-Star Sports
A-Star Sports is a fun-filled multi-sports experience for children aged 2-10 years. Children benefit from inclusive, developmental multi-sports coaching in a positive environment that begins with an initial ABC-based programme (agility, balance and co-ordination) and develops into a core of ten sports – basketball, cricket, dodgeball, football, handball, hockey, rounders, rugby, tennis, volleyball. Our multi-sports journey also includes further sports inspired by 'sport in the news' for children to discover sports over and above our core ten. Children are encouraged and supported in small classes through successful learning, confidence-building and a highly motivated coach to enjoy sport via individual activities as well as games and sports with a partner and in both small and larger teams. These practical and fun learning experiences provide the foundation for children to develop physically, socially and emotionally through the positive challenges and enjoyment of taking part in sport. Rewarded for enthusiasm, motivation, openness to new ideas, responsible participation, effective contribution and team spirit, children develop confidence, determination, supportive relationships and a lasting commitment to sporting activity. Mission: To make sport as fun and enjoyable as possible for young children, opening up new avenues to ensure sport is accessible for all abilities and helping to develop well-rounded children who enjoy healthy activity.
