We're a family run CNC precision engineering company with a long running reputation for exceptional engineering. That's why we're zealous about keeping our average quality score over 99%! What's our secret sauce ? It's down to our engineers and plant of mostly Japanese CNC machines. That's how we keep our component scrap rate at less than 1%, consistently. A&Z has been proudly certified to ISO9001 since 1999, and now we're working to achieve AS9001 certification in 2017. We have an amazing team in the office who manage our customers, operations and our business. They make sure we deliver what customers need, when they need it and to their budget. OUR CUSTOMERS We're fortunate to have the opportunity to work with some incredible companies in motorsport, automotive, oil & gas, rail and defense. Many customers have worked with us for over 20 years. We've also had the joy of helping individuals to brake the land speed record, cycle 100's of miles on a tricycle and help the sails turn on a historical windmill. OUR SERVICES For over 40 years we've turned and milled very large and small batches of components for our customers. While our core services are still CNC turning and milling, we now do this up to 5 axis. We can work from components, technical drawings or 3D drawings and use SolidWorks to make us cost efficient. OUR CNC MACHINES We're careful to use only highly rigid, reliable CNC's to produce all of our customer's components, these include the Mori Seiki NZ1500 twin spindle twin turret, Okuma MX40HA, Okuma Lathes - LB15, LB2000 and LB4000 - and XYZ Lathes. Okuma Genos Mill with 5-axis Nikken table and XYZ Mill. Our components checked to ensure quality is at it's highest using one of our Mitutoyo measurement machines or shadow graphs.
