A1 Energy Consultants was established as a result of the need for independent Energy Consultants in Ireland, we support other professionals in delivering energy goals using building physics theory including Initial conceptual energy modelling, DEAP software, Passive House Planning Package (PHPP), Builddesk U, Psi Therm & daylight analysis software for whole building energy balance calculations optimising building performance and producing a thermal bridge-free healthy, comfortable internal environment. Buildings account for 40% of EU energy use and the EPBD target is for 100% of buildings to be nZEB by 2050 to meet the Paris Agreement, including 2030 interim targets. Approximately 1.6M Irish homes are required to have a deep retrofit at an average of €40,000 per home (SEAI) to get to nZEB which requires almost €6,000,000 per day of a societal investment between now and 1 January 2050. Architects, Engineers and Building Surveyors, offering design and assigned certification to the construction industry under Irish legislation need to prove they have exercised their duties, our services de-risk the compliance certification process by assembling the evidential proof of compliance required to meet the demands of Irish building regulations in relation to certification with Part L.
