Myself Shabbir Rahman, as the Managing Director, my passion lies in making an extraordinary difference in your life and your business. But who am I, really? Keep reading to uncover the story behind the vision. More than a decade ago, armed with an Economics degree, I stepped into the world of big business, diving into the oil & gas scene at Subsea 7. Climbing fast in a company worth billions, I learned heaps about finance, taxes and leadership. But deep down, I wanted more - something that really mattered, something with a wider reach which was *entrepreneurship*! So, in 2014, I went after my accounting qualification, with Subsea 7 footing the bill. By 2016, I was a *chartered accountant*, ready to make a real difference. From there, I started helping businesses with their trickiest tax problems, even going head-to-head with HMRC and making good wins. As word got around, my dreams grew bigger. And in November 2021, I took a giant leap into full-time entrepreneurship. Sure, the journey's had its scary moments. But today, I lead a team of 12 (and growing) at my thriving accounting firm, with three more different ventures on the rise, with an additional 15+ folks - including some partners - all geared toward making things better and bigger. However, my dedication and passion remains in accounting and tax! My goal's simple: shake up the accounting world, offering personal, forward-thinking help, all with a tech-savvy twist.
