The Association was the brain child of a group of Old Time Photographers in November of 1991. AAPI held their first convention in Feb. 1992 and was incorporated in 1993. With over 20 years in operation, AAPI has close to 100 members worldwide with studio members in Spain, Australia, England, Canada and the US. Our mission is to connect, educate and support photographers, studios and vendors in the entertainment and old time imaging industry
