About AASE - Academic Association of Sales Engineering

The Academic Association of Sales Engineering (AASE) aims at promoting and establishing Sales Engineering as a separate profession, renown by industry, politics, prospect students and other stakeholders. The Association allows sales engineers, lecturers and other interested people the exchange about sales engineering and related topics and questions. Thereby the AASE is promoting the specific education and career opportunities of sales engineers. The objectives of the AASE are to continuously improve the education of sales engineers and to harmonize educational programs, as well as strengthening the image of sales engineering as a profession. An estimation (2014) on the requirement of sales engineers for the European industry implemented by the AASE led to an annual demand of at least 11,000 to 12,000 newly graduated sales engineers in Europe. AASE members are state-of-the-art professionals in Sales Engineering Education: professors, teaching staff and members of approved sales engineering study programs. The AASE is open to all people working in sales engineering education at higher education institutions in Europe, such as deans, professors or teachers. In addition the association is in contact with the industry and their alumni for sustainable quality and up-to-date research and education.
