After travelling across North America, Europe, and Asia, founder Otso Kaariainen realised the answers he sought were right at home in Finland. Inspired by his family's experience in holistic health, Otso founded Aavalabs in 2011 with a fresh ethos to develop products that positively impact lives and bring clarity to the wellness world. The name “Aava” reflects the boundless beauty of the Finnish landscape, symbolising our belief in limitless possibilities, while “Labs” embodies our dedication to precision and purity in everything we create. Our team is the heart of Aavalabs. We are a fully remote company, with team members from over 15 nationalities, speaking multiple languages, like Finnish, Indonesian or Spanish. For us, remote work is about freedom – to live life on our own terms.
