About ABC Lowcountry Builders
ABC Lowcountry Builders is a family-owned Commercial General Contractor servicing the Greater Houston Area. Being one of the smaller privately owned General Contracting companies, we allow our work along with our relationship with our customers to speak for itself. From the preconstruction phase through the closeout phase of a construction project we take pride on our relationship with our customers along with our trade partners. We do not use trade partners who we would not personally recommend to work on our commercial space or home. Commercial General Contracting is a relationship driven industry. Not only relationships with clients but relationships built over time between trade subcontractors and the GC. Our President Brantley Williams strives every day to continue to build this relationship with clients and trade contractors alike. No project is completed successfully without a good team relationship between all parties. ABC Lowcountry Builders has successfully lead projects from the design/preconstruction and permitting phase through final construction. Unlike some large General Contractors, no project is too small for us. Whether it is remodeling a bathroom or patching a wall within your office or store to building out a 50,000 sqft warehouse; we love the opportunity to build that relationship with owners in hopes we receive bid invites for larger jobs in the future. At ABC Lowcountry Builders we work using three types of contracts. The first is a lump sum contract where a full set of construction documents must be provided by the owner in order to proceed with bidding. The next is a Cost-Plus Contract. Generally, renovations/additions are completed with this type of contract due to the unknowns while working through the project. Budgets are given before a contract is signed for each scope and the owner is notified before each budget is exceeded due to change. JOC or Job Order Contracts are the third. Majority of these projects are completed in house.
