About Aberdeen Riding Club Limited

Aberdeen Riding Club is a not for profit equestrian centre in the North East of Scotland. The first fully not for profit centre in the UK, ARC has been breaking down barriers to participation for 25 years. We are a fully accessible facility, British Horse Society (BHS) Approved Riding Centre, BHS Livery Yard, BHS Training Centre, BHS Changing Lives Through Horses Centre and an RDA Approved Centre. We have over 90 livery and school horses on site at our 130 acre farm and provide riding lessons, livery, career pathway training and therapy sessions for everyone in the local area and online training for those from further afield. Horse welfare and staff development/retention has always been our priority and to this end we provide a home for life for all our school horses, keeping them into retirement and invest heavily in our staff development, funding all their training and BHS assessments during their employment with us. A forward thinking, agile organisation, ARC is led by Sally McCarthy, BHS Senior Coach (Eventing) and Performance Centre Manager who's vision and drive has built the club from humble beginnings to the large centre it is today.
