About Abilene Flying Bison

The goal of the Abilene Flying Bison is to create an elite experience for both fans and players, by placing an emphasis on player development and building the most fan-friendly (AND family-friendly) organization in all of baseball. The Flying Bison were founded in Abilene, Texas in 2024. As a part of the Mid-America League, we are accompanied by 5 other teams located in the south-central region of the U.S. In May 2024, we played our inaugural season at Walt Driggers Field out of McMurry University. Thanks to our incredible players and coaching staff, the Flying Bison went 46-22 during our first season, marking us as Regular Season Champions. In addition to providing a great, fulfilling experience for both fans and players, the Flying Bison organization strives to be thought leaders in not only the summer league space, but baseball in its entirety.
