About Ability Hearing and Balance
Ability Hearing and Balance is co-owned by local Tasmanian audiologists, Nick and Heidi Modrovich. We have been serving the hearing needs of local Tasmanians for well over a decade. With 20 years experience each in the industry, we are the local experts in non-routine hearing aids fittings & maintenance. Being an independent business means that we deal with all the major hearing aid manufacturers available in Australia. Our vision is to create locally owned & operated clinics that not only focus on hearing aid advice and fitting, but to also provide the latest in diagnostic audiology, including comprehensive balance & vestibular testing; hearing tests for both adults and children; central auditory processing (CAPD) testing; ear wax micro-suction; custom ear plugs, and tinnitus assessment & counselling. We are also accredited to provide free and subsidized hearing aids and services to eligible Pensioner and DVA clients. Part of our vision is also to create a local training facility for clinicians to provide an exciting career path for Tasmanians in the Audiometry training field. We are a state wide service, servicing greater Hobart, Launceston, Devonport, and the North west coast of Tasmania. Our clinics are situated at the Glenorchy Medical Centre; Channel Court Shopping Centre in Kingston; the bus mall in Rosny Park; and Yorktown Square in Launceston. Where we can, we support other local Tasmanian small business in the way we choose our suppliers. Call us on 1300 EAR PRO to support local.
