About ABLE Life Recovery
I’m D.J. Burr, and I support recovery and healing for individuals struggling with compulsive behavior. Such behaviors include sex addiction, pornography addiction, codependency, trauma, and mental health challenges that need to be addressed as part of the recovery process. I am a licensed mental health professional and certified clinical trauma professional with 13+ years of experience. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) treatment and have experience in community mental health and crisis intervention. I am a published author, speaker, and podcast host. I identify as a black, gay, cis-gender male.
