About Ablekids Press

Ablekids Press is a Scottish publisher and bookseller based in Inverness. Our main publishing focus has been children’s books, many of which have been created in bilingual editions. In 2021 our new imprint, Wild About Inverness, was launched to showcase fun, interesting aspects of our city to locals and visitors. Since 2020 we have been developing our Storyflower Project which is now used in schools across Scotland. We have a shop in the city centre, on Market Brae Steps, which stocks all our books, a selection of book-related merchandise, one of the best selections of Gaelic books in Scotland and a growing range of adult and children’s books from other publishers. We are supportive of local writers, including self-published authors. We also have an online shop which showcases and sells our own products.
