Paul Ploenges is the proud owner of Absolute Safety Solutions. Paul has been working in Risk, Health and Safety Management for the last 18 years. Paul started Absolute Safety Solutions so he can provide practical risk, health and safety for businesses within Australia. Paul completed OHS studies in the early 2000’s and started working for the South Australian Regulator SafeWork SA for 10 years. Being promoted to a Principal Inspector level before transitioning to a role as Senior Consultant WHS for Business SA in 2013. As a Senior Consultant Paul used his skills to assist Business SA members in: - management of their risk and safety systems, - undertaking H&S auditing, - development and delivery of safety and risk training to management and workers, - development of practical induction processes - safety inspections, - development of business risk and health and safety framework such as policy, procedures, and associated documents. Paul has been recently working for SA Water (since November 2021) undertaking the role of Health and Safety Specialist contractor management. Major events that Paul has provided risk, health and safety services include: - Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society (RAHS) of South Australia as Event Safety Coordinator for the Adelaide Showground and The Royal Adelaide Show. - Groove in The Moo - Spin Off - Botanic Park music festivals Paul was successful in winning the role as WHS Manager for South Australian Tourism Commission events arm ‘Events South Australia’ (ESA) in 2018.
