I have worked with many different people from all walks of life and have been in the sector for 5years but have life experience. Below are two true stories of a couple of my participants. I hope to have the privilege to be a part of your journey. A participant that I worked with for several months who is diagnosed with Agoraphobia, after many weeks of encouragement and patience, this was at her own pace, she had the courage to walk into her back yard and sat in her garden. Kicked a massive goal!! A street kid who was living on the street from the age of 16yrs - I have been working with her for 5 years and diagnosed with PTSD and ANXIETY. Now 28yrs she is living in a safe and secure home, engaged and about to start her own family. Just to name a few of the amazing people I have worked with. I have been an advocate for people with mental health. I do not work like most support workers; the holistic approach is the only way. I work with the person not the diagnosis. And I do not wear a uniform, never have! With previous employment I refused to wear one. I will help you reach your goals, cheering you on as I stand on the sideline.
