ACA Systems produces the WinSIMS software that is widely known in the intruder alarm and fire protection industries in the UK and Ireland. It is also used by other companies that must react to callouts, breakdowns and/or perform regular (preventative) maintenance on equipment installed or serviced by them. These include companies supplying and/or servicing industrial lasers, vehicle tracking equipment, temperature calibration and computer services. The software can link dynamically to accounts packages such as QuickBooks, Sage 50, Sage 200, Pegasus Opera and our own WinACCOUNTS. Other accounts packages can be catered for. The standard WinSIMS software can be expanded by additional modules, some of which are: WinSPECS (CRM/quotations/specifications), WinSTOCK (stock control and purchase orders), document management, remote 'paperless' engineer control, direct debits, job costing, a link to your phone system or having your clients book maintenance visits via your own website. The remote engineering software allows your engineers to receive from, and return to WinSIMS, the jobs sent by your office or created by the engineer after hours via their devices. They can complete maintenance check lists, issue stock, see and update asset lists, take and return pictures, collect signatures, etc. at the client's site, which can then be invoiced at once at the office.
