About Academy of the Arts
The Academy of the Arts was established 25 years ago as a traveling dance studio offering instruction at daycare centers and community centers. We have grown and established solid roots in Shawnee as well as offering lessons at various satellite locations. Since 1998, over 3,000 students, toddlers through adults have taken lessons at our various locations. We offer instruction in tap, ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, hip hop, pom, and acrobatic dance. We offer competitive dance as well as recreational dance.
