About Accelerate Institute
Accelerate Institute exists to ensure students in under-resourced and marginalized communities have equal access to a high-quality education and safe and nurturing school environments. For more than 30 years, Accelerate Institute has ignited academic achievement in K-12 schools through a comprehensive and strategic approach to school improvement and leadership development. We believe leaders are the catalyst for school change, as they influence student achievement by creating the conditions for effective teaching and learning to flourish. Our work to guide school-wide change is based on the Accelerate Framework and Transformational Leadership Building Blocks developed through our extensive studies into the key processes and practices of high-performing schools serving under-resourced school communities and students. Accelerate Institute offers a variety of professional learning opportunities capable of meeting the unique needs of any school or network. Learning is focused on school improvement strategies including change management, strategic planning, leading effective adult teams, managing a data-driven culture, and strengthening school culture. Depending on the Membership level you choose, leaders can grapple with content in a one-to-one coaching session or in small groups as well as assess and reflect on the current state of their school and their own personal leadership skills.
