Founded in 1988, Accent Music has deep roots in the music business. We wanted to supply leading brands, great service and low prices in a family-friendly atmosphere. 20 years later, Accent Music has become one of the nation’s top 150 retailers! Our full-service band and orchestra program helps many kids get started in music and we serve most of the public and private schools in our 4 state region. An important part of the Accent Music story is the School of Contemporary Music. This educational facility houses 28 studios with more than 40 teachers and provides the Delaware community with private lessons on most musical instruments including voice. SoCM students have gone on to schools like Berklee and Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts. The School of Contemporary Music is a community of musicians where students, teachers and families are committed to learning about, promoting and experiencing music together. Accent Music wouldn’t be completed without the full-service repair facility for guitars, electronics and band instruments. We have long-term associations with the most advanced electronic technicians and guitar repair luthiers in the region. This assures you some of the highest quality repair service in the industry. Our in-house repair facility provides full service on woodwind, brasswind and orchestral string instruments.
