About Access Sport College

We pride ourselves on creating innovative sporting minds, inspiring lifelong participation and careers within the sports, media, events and public sector industries. Originally established in 2006 (as Coaching Connexions), Access Sport was created in 2019 following a merger with the biggest private training provider in the country Access Creative College. As a leading national sports training provider that delivers further and higher education programmes, our objective is to provide tangible exit routes for learners desiring a future career in sport across a variety of pathways. These include futures within coaching, sport science, media, events, teaching, and esports. All while training and developing as athletes across their chosen sport provision. Our programmes are designed for learners to use their passion for sport to develop transferable skills that can also lead to careers within the public services sector and many other industries. Our core principles are embodied in the ‘growth mindset’ culture that we have created here at Access Sport. To create this authentic culture, we work tirelessly to install our core principles into the environment, our staff, partnerships and most importantly our learners in order to bring our philosophy to life. Over the years we have continued to adapt our study and sport development programmes embracing new technology and ways of learning to support in developing the most well rounded, motivated academic sports students and athletes in the sector. At Access Sport, the career is the goal and we aim to ensure that we utilise the best possible resources in the area in order to maximise student experience. In order to help us work towards these missions, we have partnered with a number of different organisations and technical partners who each play a key role in the delivery of our courses and pathways.
