About ACE Resource Network

ACE Resource Network is a national organization working to make the prevention, early detection, and evidence-based treatment of toxic stress a standard part of healthcare practice in the United States. Originally known for launching the first national public awareness and education campaign on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) in 2021 called “The Story of Your Number” - ACE Resource Network has always been rooted in connecting science, storytelling, and systems change. NumberStory.org continues to offer trusted resources, tools, and strategies to raise awareness, prevent ACEs, and support healing. Now entering its next chapter under the leadership of Chief Impact Officer Dr. Nadine Burke Harris and Executive Director Parker Blackman, ACE Resource Network is expanding its focus: We partner with leaders across the country to accelerate systems improvements, provide access to evidence-based support and training protocols, and help states build coordinated networks of care. Our work is anchored in the science of early intervention and the belief that ACEs are not destiny. We’re committed to helping build durable, equitable systems that reflect what the research shows: responding early changes lives. We continue to advance education, foster awareness, and uplift a growing network of providers, policymakers, researchers, and communities working to break the cycle of adversity.
