About Aceites Abril

Aceites Abril, is a company founded in 1962 by Manuel Pérez Delgado. Our factory had its origin in Mora de Toledo, Spain with the activity of two stone press mills for the extraction of extra virgin olive oil, which later was bottled and distributed from our bottling plant in Ourense. The second family generation took over the company in 1994 and moved the factory to the San Cibrao industrial zone, in Ourense. Nowadays, in this new factory which has been expanded and extended on several occasions, covers a site of more than 7.000 square metres of warehouses to fullfill our purpose, equipped with the most modern technology to develop the procedure of bottling and selling our oils. Behind the production of every bottle there is a skilled team of more than 80 workers, who insure that our products have the highest standard of safety and quality. Aceites Abril is dedicated to the bottling marketing and the sale of bottled and bulk edible oils. The process begins with the reception of the oil, which is analyzed in our laboratory of quality control. The oil is bottled using the most modern machinery available, composing of five bottling lines: four in PET-plastic formats and one in glass. We also distribute and sell bulk oils in various container formats. Within our strategy, Aceites Abril acknowledges a path of constant improvement, which diversifies among the fields of food safety, the management of the quality and the care of the environment, as our basic priorities. This translates in a constant progress of integral management of quality, based on constantly evolving food safety systems, environmental management and the commitment of providing our clients maximum satisfaction, both in products and in service. Resulting from this commitment, the company has obtained the following certificates: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IFS, BRC and EMAS.
